Complete is the design practice of Patrick Maun, a creative director and designer for close to twenty years working in wide variety of settings. Complete has been everything from a small team and as a solo-endeavor designing and developing solutions for clients as well as partnering with agencies to enhance their interactive design offerings and helping with new business development. At Capella University (‘12-’16) Patrick was brought in to help build a creative team for a complete overhaul of their website and online branding. Working with an extremely talented in-house and contract team of designers, developers, UX and content strategists we were able to go from zero to launch in less than six months. While this was a fractional position after a successful launch I ended up staying on for several years to oversee updates, execute and incorporate new branding, work the implementation of a new CMS system and work on one of my passions at large organizations, helping to established relationships between design and long-entrenched organizational silos. My time at OLSON (‘07-’08) was spent on clients Target, Fifth Third Bank, Marvin Window and others while also helping land new accounts including Lee Jeans, Vasque and Red Wing Shoes. I was the interactive creative director for both Target and Marshall Fields (‘03-’06) directing teams through weekly site refreshes, in-house brand launches and multiple seasonal campaigns. Working cross-chanel was one of the more enjoyable and challenging aspects of my time at Target. I really enjoyed working with the teams in brand, in-store , seasonal campaign, social media. I also took part in the selection process for a new agency-of-record.
